Enhanced ICDP roll are developed based on ICDP rolls. The microstructure consists of a bainitic / martensitic matrix with Fe3C and MC carbides homogeneously distributed and a certain amount of free graphite fine and also well distributed in the matrix.The rolls are double tempered to avoid retained Austenite and to obtain the right hardness level and the optimum residual stress level.
